Radio Caprice NEUROFUNK/TECHNOID is a streaming radio channel dedicated to the styles of neurofunk, technoid, and techstep. Neurofunk, a subgenre of drum and bass, emerged in London around 1997-1998, characterized by sharp, "chewing" basses and influenced by techno, house, and funk. Technoid, originating in the mid-2000s, blends techno and drum and bass with dynamic sounds and percussion. Techstep, a drum and bass subgenre associated with Ed Rush's "What's Up" in 1996, features hard samples and minimal, short percussion.
