About Waterland Radio

Waterland Radio has been broadcasting for over 55 years, starting as the Purmerender Radio Omroep, the hospital radio for Waterland. Since 2013, they have operated as Stichting Waterland Radio, providing modern radio programming for patients in the Dijklander Ziekenhuis in Purmerend and Hoorn. Their programming is accessible via iPads provided to patients and through online streaming, allowing other healthcare institutions and former patients to listen. Waterland Radio also offers podcasts of their programs for listeners to enjoy at their convenience.
